Julie took redundancy from the rat race. Being total foodies while having busy careers, it was practically impossible to source convenient food with the quality of a home cooked meal.
Little did we know that the desire to fill this gap would bring us to where we are today! The philosophy was simple:
- Source local, quality ingredients supporting local farmers
- All modifiers, stabilisers, artificial colourings, preservatives, additives are banished. Real food with real ingredients
- Get the best chef we can and allow their creativity to flourish
- Produce a range of cuisines from around the world

Our Philosophy
To produce genuine home cooked food by following a few simple steps:
- Using the freshest ingredients
- To not use additives or preservatives (I mean who knows how to use Sodium-wotsit, or Mono-thingy anyway?)
- To cook our dishes traditionally to create that lovely depth of flavour and to only cook in small batches
- To use local meat that's lead a natural life
- To establish a menu of World Wide Cuisines
- To ensure all our products are convenient to cook at home
- Oh, and to make sure that our prices are practical
- To prepare all dishes by hand
- To listen to what our customers want and respond quickly
